ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COLLEGE

The Katsina State College of Health Sciences was established by the Katsina State Law No. 4 of December, 2006.

The College brought together the three state’s Health training institutions and provided for the inclusion of such other schools as may be necessary to provide course of study and research in Community Health, Environmental Health, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Science, Dental Health and Health Information Management as an avenue for continuing education in health sciences and curriculum developments.

The College is governed by council which provides policy direction, a Provost who is the Chief Executive and Directors heading the two satellite campuses.
